- The Office for Missions assists the Eparchial Bishop and his Protopresbyters in securing missions already established, and in the development of new missions within the Eparchy, thus supporting the Eparchial Bishop in his efforts to meet the spiritual needs of Maronites who do not reside within an existing Maronite parish.
- The Office for Missions may assist Protopresbyters in appraising the needs of Maronite communities lacking the services of a Maronite Church or priest. This assistance may include the actual founding of a Maronite parish.
- The Office for Missions may also assist the Eparchial Bishop and Protopresbyters in acquiring new sources of financial assistance which would help missions become more secure and eventually self-supportive.
